Photography

I am not too keen on the new digital photography. I am a die-hard 35 mm photographer. Although to this day, I have not had that much experience with digital photography. I use my camera phone to take pictures sometimes.  I like having the slide or negative and I like unaltered photos.  Here is some of my work. I hope you like it. Please let me know if you would like prints of some of these photos.

This is a photo I took down at our pond. It was February and we had just had a storm the night before. The sun was out and I saw this reflection. No it is not digitally enhanced. This was exhibited at the fine arts building in the 2001 state fair. This photo is for sale $150 for a

The best way to improve in your own journey in photography is to take a picture everyday. It should be thought out. Although I realize spontaneity is  part of photography. I would have never planned this photo.
Nature gives us such a  great canvas to work with.  Just in your back yard in a large array of options.    In fact most of my pictures are taken from my yard.

I also like to experiment with different focal points. This is why I like a regular 35 mm camera and lens. I do know that you can use the same lenses on a digital. But then again you do not get the negative or slide for documentation.
This picture was taken early in the morning. It was slightly foggy and if I remember right very chilly.

 under the willow tree

This is our old willow tree in the back yard. So inviting. What we need is a swing under it. Back when our ram was still alive he would spend most of his days trimming it. He love to munch on willow leaves.

blue bird world

Starting on Monday I will be taking one picture a day. I will be posting them weekly. Also I am working on my photos for stock to sell.

Here is a blue bird sitting on top of a tree. The C.O. has many blur bird houses available for them.
